V2-series technology enables two-way energy flow for EVs, allowing power batteries to output electricity externally.
.V2L (Vehicle to Load): The on-board inverter converts high-voltage DC into standard 220V AC with 2.2–6.6kW output. Widely used for camping equipment and household emergency power, standard on BYD, Li Auto and AITO models. Vehicles must shift to P gear and reserve 15%-30% battery capacity to avoid over-discharge damage.
.V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle): EVs can charge other dead electric vehicles for roadside emergency rescue.
.V2H (Vehicle to Home): Paired with bidirectional home chargers, EVs supply power to all household appliances during blackouts, acting as home energy storage.
.V2G (Vehicle to Grid): EVs charge at off-peak low electricity prices and feed power back to the grid at peak hours to balance grid load. It remains in pilot operation in most regions.
