A 480kW DC fast charging station equipped with Chinese-made heavy-duty charging guns was put into operation in 's-Gravenzande, the Netherlands, and reported on the front page of AD newspaper on July 27. The local agricultural logistics firm Vilosa deployed the charger for its electric delivery truck fleet. The charging gun supports simultaneous dual-vehicle charging, with full 0–100% charging completed within 20 minutes for heavy EVs. Its IP55 waterproof and IK10 anti-impact housing withstands year-round coastal salt fog and frequent rainfall in the Netherlands; the charging gun plug maintains stable performance after over 10,000 plug-unplug cycles, with a 10-year design service life. Local industry insiders commented that Chinese charging gun hardware has reached European industrial-grade durability standards, and three-phase Type 2 portable chargers for passenger vehicles are gradually dominating EU household retail channels.
