This is the most common failure point we see from low-tier cable suppliers. We use properly sized Class 5 stranded copper, following EN 60228. Single-phase 3.5kW /7kW builds use 3×2.5mm² or 3×6mm². Three-phase 11kW /22kW runs use 5×2.5mm² or 5×6mm². Correct sizing keeps resistance low, suppresses heat build-up and preserves stable voltage at the vehicle inlet over thousands of charging sessions. We reject CCA copper-clad aluminium and low-purity mixed scrap copper that fails routine resistance spot-checks.

We select jacket material based on your use case. TPU delivers superior abrasion and tear resistance for public depots where cables get driven over repeatedly; TPE balances flexibility and cost for residential OEM builds. Both stay pliable down to -20°C and resist cracking from constant bending.
✅ IP55 splash protection for outdoor charging environments
Connector and cable assembly carry IP55 rating for splash and dust ingress when mated. Important note for coastal buyers: IP55 splash rating does not equal salt-mist corrosion resistance. Anti-UV and anti-salt formulation can be added as an upgrade for seaside deployments.

A: Yes. Custom branding is available on the connector housing, cable outer jacket and retail/master cartons. Send your vector artwork and marking requirements when submitting your RFQ.
Q: What is the difference between 3*6mm² and 5*6mm²?
A: 3×6mm² is single-phase (220V) 32A cable, rated up to 7kW. 5×6mm² is three-phase (380V) 32A cable, built for 22kW charging. Using an under-spec conductor is the leading cause of overheating and safety non-conformity during market inspections.
Q: Do you supply cables with the charging station attached?
